Page Types

Making it simple!

To make your website as flexible as possible we provide a selection of page types. Depending on the nature of the page require a suitable page type is chosen for best effect. For example: an information page, a news story or image gallery would all be handled slightly differently. The following are brief descriptions of the standard page types included.

Homepage

The homepage normally takes on a different format to the rest of the website - look at it in terms of a magazine when the cover introduces snippets of what’s inside.

Content

All websites are set up to have standard content pages, for example 'about us' or 'company history'.

Pictures

Various image types can be uploaded, sized and cropped within the system without the need for preliminary image optimisation; obviously the images you put on your website can only be as good as the originals so it's always worth ensuring you have good quality photos to start with.

Photo gallery

As well as adding pictures to your standard content we can also provide the facility to upload multiple images into a gallery.

News, announcements and generally categories

A category list can be provided which can hold multiple items. This is useful for reporting latest news or multiple case studies.

Forms and feedback

Contact and enquiry forms are useful for capturing details. These can be customised to gather exactly the information you need.

Depending on your specific requirements we can embed into soCMS pretty much any function you can think of ranging from product catalogues and ecommerce purchasing solutions to, directory listings, event diaries or booking forms.
